New Cars Information

I have already received my car title (no lienholder is listed), but the dealer is threatening repo saying I haven’t paid, Even by his own contract, it says he holds the title til paid in full. I threw all the reciepts out afterthe title came, so I only have the title as proof…Can he do this?
Unfornately I always pay this guy cash, because he has been a friend for six years and I’ve bought other cars from him before…I have no clue why he doing this now. I paid the car off in full….then found out he listed the car in the local paper two thousand less then what he sold it to me for, so I’m getting ripped off completely by this guy that is supposed to be my “friend” On top of that, I found out the car had been “rigged” and I had to pay over four hundred dollars to fix the car. It was a bad deal all the way around

i recently bought my first car and i plan on customizing it bit-by-bit. i think that im going to start with a stereo, then get the windows tinted darker, (maybe) black rims and then a spoiler (just a small one- the factory kind.)

ok, im starting with the stereo. i have NO IDEA of what to get. i want something that has some power but my car is small so i don’t want to over do it.

could you lead me in the right direction.
(in terms of the actual stereo, the speakers, amp, subs, etc.)

gas is really hight and i need a cheap car that is good on gas

I just bought this car. It’s all stock for now. But i want to upgrade it into a fast and Furious type of car. But i have no idea where to start. From buying parts, to engine, to electrical stuff. It’s all overwhelming. And shall i say this is the first time i will be attempting to customize a car.

What i do know is that:
- I need a new engine, a V-tech , the best racing engine i could get. i know a friend who figured out a way to get a V-tech engine out of a more recent car and put it in his Prelude. So if you guys know a recent V-tech car engine that will fit on my honda w/ not much needed accessories, then please let me know. I live in Mt pocono in case you know places around or junkyard.

-Second i know i will be putting a Carputer , but not sure what to get.

I’ve ben in the car business all my life but auto auctions are new to me…what are some pitfalls?? my hope is to find cars that need work and get good deals

My sister told us about a car dealer that was offering sales on 2006 minivans. We went and looked, I didn’t like the 2006 models they had because they had no options, but I did find a van I fell in love with, it was a loaded 2002 Town and Country Limited Edition, for only 13, 000. I left a reasonable deposit since the banks were closed. This was Saturday evening. They told us they’d do the financing Monday morning and we could return after work Monday, sign the paperwork and pick it up. Well today I called to tell my sister about it and imagine my suprise when she tells me she did the same exact thing for the same exact vehicle Friday evening, and they called her Saturday morning to tell her that her paperwork was ready to be signed and that she could come pick it up Saturday afternoon. She couldn’t make it Saturday so she told them she’d come get it Monday. I cannot understand why they showed me the vehicle and took my money and are putting points on my credit for something sold?

I need to find a used car dealer in west palm beach florida, can anyone help me find a place they’ve had good experience with.

Do car dealers want your trade in or would they rather you just pay for the entire car? I am buying a new car and have a car to trade in. My new car won’t be here for a month so I tried to sell my car privately and it worked. I got a few thousand more for the car than he offered (including sales tax adjustment). When I call the dealer to tell him I won’t be trading in, will he be mad or will he be glad?

Your parents obviously haven’t taught you about responsiblity or else they would have made you buy your own car, or at least they would have bought you a USED car instead of a brand new mercedes. Is daddy paying for gas,too, as well as the “new accessories” you’re going to add to it?

Don’t say I’m jealous, because I’m proud to have parents who made me pay for my own car. It shows that they know I’m responsible and mature enough to purchase a car and care for MYSELF. Saying that I or anyone else on here is jealous is just proving more and more about how much of an egotistical snobby ***** you are.

ive been thru so much.. nobody wud understand. they just automatically think im a snobby brat. thats so rude.

I have the title and bill of sale ready to go. But NYSDMV says when I sell the car I give the buyer a bill of sale, the title, destroy the registration and take the plates. But if the car is on the street without registration/plates it will get a ticket. How do I give a bill of sale/title and not take the plates? How does the buyer get new plates/registration if I don’t give a bill of sale and title? Seems like a catch 22.
